Fuel policy - Full to Full:

Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel. To avoid incurring fuel charges, you will need to return it with the same amount of fuel as it had when you collected it. You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved or charged on your credit card, this will be released or refunded when you return the car full. Missing fuel will be charged on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the price at the local service station. A refuelling charge may also be applicable. Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated in the top section of rate details.

Driver's age

25 to 75 years.

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Travel Restrictions

Please note that there might be a local fee (Dart charge) if you are travelling through the Darford Tunnel or over The QE2 Bridge.

Should customers wish to take UK vehicles abroad, they need to have by law, a VE103B and seek Firefly Permission prior to the pickup. There will be a charge of GBP 60 + VAT per day.

Cross Border is not guaranteed and restrictionas will apply to certain countries. Please, check with the rental branch before the pickup.

Firefly vehicles rented in Northern Ireland may be driven into the Republic of Ireland but not into any other country. Customers are required to notify the rental counter staff of their intention to travel into the Republic of Ireland on pickup of their rental vehicle. An additional driving abroad charge of GBP 15.00 per rental will apply. Vehicles may not be taken off the island of Ireland.

Should these restrictions be ignored all insurance (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, Super Cover, PAI), if accepted, shall be deemed, null and void, also the driver will be held fully responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
